Terms for trademark research tools

Effective October 14, 2026. These terms cover TrademarkWatch's public trademark research integration. By using it, you agree to use it lawfully and respect the service's request limits.

Research scope

The integration retrieves records from our ingested U.S. trademark index. Name search covers exact and prefix text matches only. Data can be incomplete, delayed, or incorrect. A missing record or empty search does not establish that a trademark does not exist or that a name is available.

TrademarkWatch provides research information, not legal advice, a clearance opinion, or a guarantee of registrability. Review the linked official records and consult a qualified trademark attorney before making legal, filing, or enforcement decisions.

Service availability

We may limit requests, suspend abusive access, or change the research tools. We provide the tools as available without a guarantee of uninterrupted service or complete results. The tools do not create customer accounts, monitoring watches, applications, payments, or subscriptions.
